In Your Eyes
By Robert C Price
Eyes the color of
Mahogany
They tell my truth
My ambitions
I fear looking into
Your abyss
They swallow my being
Burn holes into my soul
Disappointments have come
And gone
Your eyes remain constant
Like the mountains
Weathered and beaten
But still standing
Still watching
In your eyes I see
Strength
Compassion
Love unconditional
My heart through
It all
I have nominated you for a bunch of awards! Enjoy π π
